This international exhibition seeks to showcase the best of contemporary fiber art that reflect the breadth of functional or non-functional works that use fiber and/or fiber art techniques in traditional or innovative ways. Artwork in this exhibition may be made from natural or high tech materials that reference fiber and that blur the lines between art, architecture and craft.

Stefania Urist’s sculpture, Tidal, will be on display.

The Denver Botanic Gardens presents Contemporary Fiber: Botanicals. Inspired by the world around us, this exhibition features artworks made with fiber materials and innovative textile techniques. An international juried exhibition created in partnership with Fiber Art Now magazine, Contemporary Fiber presents a broad array of contemporary artists working in fiber and textiles with nature as their muse.

Stefania Urist’s sculpture, Path of Water is on display and won first place in this exhibit.
