This interactive sculpture was commissioned by the Winterthur Museum as part of their Transformations exhibit.
This detail shot shows the pieces of paper with the end grain/rings of the tree embossed onto them. Each piece is intended to be taken home by viewers to dismantle the piece throughout the exhibition.
This view is of the public engagement piece in the middle of the exhibition, after viewers have taken some pieces away.
