Stefania Urist MFA Thesis - Impact(ed): Dystopian Fossils from a Damaged Ecosphere

The physical manifestation of this thesis is laser cut onto paper and bound into an accordion artist book that can be read in a round. The words burn through to the following sheet while leaving a ghost image of the previous page. This physical expression coincides with my themes of temporality, ghosts, memory, and use of paper as an end product from trees.
